Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO)
Dr. Indera Rampal-Harrod is Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) for Tift Regional Health System (TRHS). She has been with TRHS since 2016.
Tift Regional Health System is a leading health care provider serving 12 counties in South Central Georgia. Tift Regional Medical Center (TRMC), the flagship hospital for TRHS, is a 181-bed regional referral center offering signature services in surgery, oncology, cardiovascular care, women’s health and more. TRHS comprises of TRMC and the TRMC West Campus in Tifton, Cook Medical Center and Cook Senior Living Center in Adel and Tift Regional Physician Group with clinics located throughout the region. TRHS is also a founding partner of Stratus Healthcare and Care Alliance ACO.
Dr. Rampal-Harrod is responsible for creating the Human Capital agenda, which will enable growth and a competitive advantage through talent management, organizational capabilities and company culture. She provides strategic oversight for the human resources and education departments and advises the executive team on policies, practices and trends related to the system’s human capital functions.
Prior to this role, Dr. Rampal-Harrod held various human resources leadership positions with HealthFirst, Gersh Educational Services, American Express, Delta Airlines and Interstate Brands Corporation. In addition, she serves as an adjunct professor and an advisory board council member for the New York Institute of Technology - School of Management Center for Human Resources Studies.
Dr. Rampal-Harrod holds two master-of-science degrees from the New York Institute of Technology in human resources management & labor relations and instructional technology, as well as a doctorate degree in organization and management with a specialization in human resources from Capella University.
