An instructor supervised student comes from an affiliating school, college or university and engages in the direct activities of the job/career including direct patient contact under the supervision of an on-site instructor from the school/college/university. Tift Regional Health System retains responsibility for patient care and assists students in learning while providing care. Contracts between TRHS and the school/college/university are required. Students enrolled in academic programs should refer to their instructors for guidance in completing the requirements. Pre-requisites are processed prior to starting learning experiences.
TRHS cannot provide a review of records such as background checks and acceptance reviews for students prior to the school, college, or university submitting the student information to us.
