Mindy McStott is Vice President, Quality Management for Tift Regional Health System (TRHS). She has been with TRHS since 2004.
Tift Regional Health System is a leading health care provider serving 12 counties in South Central Georgia. Tift Regional Medical Center (TRMC), the flagship hospital for TRHS, is a 181-bed regional referral center offering signature services in surgery, oncology, cardiovascular care, women’s health and more. TRHS comprises of TRMC and the TRMC West Campus in Tifton, Cook Medical Center and Cook Senior Living Center in Adel and Tift Regional Physician Group with clinics located throughout the region. TRHS is also a founding partner of Stratus Healthcare and Care Alliance ACO.
Mindy is responsible for continuous performance improvement initiatives at TRHS which are designed to enhance the quality and efficiency of patient care. The goal is better outcomes, improved safety, reduced readmissions and efficient resource utilization. Mindy provides the executive team with data reporting, analysis and best practice recommendations to help drive improvement in organizational quality.
Mindy holds a master’s degree in social work from Valdosta State University, a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Metropolitan State College and a nursing diploma from the Mansfield General Hospital School of Nursing. Prior to joining TRHS, Mindy worked in various nursing and nurse management roles in hospital, home health and hospice settings.
Mindy is a licensed master social worker as well as a registered nurse and certified case manager. She is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. Mindy is involved with numerous professional societies, including the Georgia Hospital Association and Vizient MidSouth. She provides a community service as a member of the Diversified Enterprises Advisory Board.
