Vice President, Facility Management
Sarah Thompson is Vice President, Facility Management for Tift Regional Health System (TRHS). She has been with TRHS since 1967.
TRHS is a leading health care provider serving 12 counties in South Central Georgia. Tift Regional Medical Center (TRMC), the flagship hospital for TRHS, is a 181-bed regional referral center offering signature services in surgery, oncology, cardiovascular care, women’s health and more.
TRHS comprises of TRMC and the TRMC West Campus in Tifton, Cook Medical Center and Cook Senior Living Center in Adel and Tift Regional Physician Group with clinics located throughout the region. TRHS is also a founding partner of Stratus Healthcare and Care Alliance ACO.
Sarah serves as property master for Tift Regional and is responsible for the planning and implementation of construction, renovation and expansion projects. She provides administrative oversight for the system’s Facility, Engineering and Safety Management Department as well as Guest Relations and Volunteer Services.
Sarah started as an executive assistant and worked her way up to the position of assistant administrator and later vice president. Prior to joining the hospital, she served on the staff of the Herring Certified Public Accounting firm. She is a member of the Georgia Hospital Association.
