Dr. William A. Guest is Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer (CMO) for Tift Regional Health System. He has served in this role since 2012.
TRHS is a leading health care provider serving 12 counties in South Central Georgia. Tift Regional Medical Center (TRMC), the flagship hospital for TRHS, is a 181-bed regional referral center offering signature services in surgery, oncology, cardiovascular care, women’s health and more. TRHS comprises of TRMC and the TRMC West Campus in Tifton, Cook Medical Center and Cook Senior Living Center in Adel and Tift Regional Physician Group with clinics located throughout the region. TRHS is also a founding partner Care Alliance ACO.
Dr. Guest facilitates medical staff interactions with the hospital system’s executive team and governing board to assure effective and efficient delivery of quality medical care. He provides administrative oversight of Tift Regional’s quality, risk and case management as well as population health management, compliance, patient safety, respiratory therapy, medical affairs, emergency medicine and more.
Dr. Guest has been integral in the development of Georgia-based Stratus Healthcare, one of the nation’s largest collaborations of hospitals, healthcare systems and physicians aligned to develop a clinically-integrated network. TRHS is a founding partner and Dr. Guest serves on the Stratus Healthcare board. Dr. Guest is also a member of the boards of Secure Health, the Southwest Georgia Area Health Education Center, Tift Regional Medical Center Foundation and Tiftarea YMCA. He is a past medical director of Tift County Emergency Medical Services.
