William T. Richardson, FACHE
William T. Richardson, FACHE is President and Chief Executive Officer of Tift Regional Health System, headquartered in Tifton, Georgia.
Tift Regional Health System includes Tift Regional Medical Center (TRMC) and the TRMC West Campus in Tifton; Cook Medical Center and Cook Senior Living Center in Adel; and, Tift Regional Physician Group with various primary care and specialty care clinic locations located throughout South Central Georgia.
Tift Regional Health System is also the lead partner of Care Alliance, an Accountable Care Organization (ACO) which serves as an approved Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP).
In addition, Mr. Richardson is Board Chairman and co-founder of Georgia-based Stratus Healthcare, one of the nation’s largest collaborations of hospitals, healthcare systems and physicians aligned to develop a clinically-integrated network. He also serves on the Board of Secure Health.
Before joining TRHS in 1988, Mr. Richardson served as an Assistant Administrator at West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange, Georgia and later as Administrator at Bulloch Memorial Hospital in Statesboro, Georgia. He earned his master’s degree in hospital and health administration from the University of Alabama in Birmingham and his undergraduate degree from the University of South Alabama. He is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE).
Mr. Richardson is actively involved with numerous professional organizations. He has served as Past Chairman of the Georgia Hospital Association, the Georgia Alliance of Community Hospitals and VHA Georgia (now Vizient MidSouth).
