  • Grand Rounds (lunch activities on the 2nd Tuesday monthly at 12:30 pm in the TRMC Dining Room)
  • Grand Rounds After Hours (dinner activities held periodically)
  • Cancer Conferences
  • Performance Improvement CME offerings
  • ICU Rounds (weekly on Thursday at 10:00 am)
  • Difficult to Diagnose Series (quarterly on the 2nd Tuesday at 12:30, replacing Grand Rounds)

Grand Rounds activities are offered remotely to Affinity Clinic, Adel and Ocilla Primary Care.

Performance Improvement CME

TRMC can award up to 20 CME credit for performance improvement (PI) and quality improvement (QI) activities, including:

PI/QI activity selection, measurement and evaluation.

  • Disease management modules.
  • Evidence-based practices

Current PI Projects:

Reducing Readmissions - Cameron Nixon, MD – physician champion

Antibiotic Stewardship – Rubal Patel, MD, physician champion

All activities must demonstrate an impact on physician competence, physician performance or patient outcomes. Recent examples of PI/QI CME projects include, Obesity Management and a Lung Cancer Screening Program.   For further information contact Mindy McStott or Judy Cooper.
