Breast Cancer Support Group
Facilitated by the TRMC Women’s Health Navigator, this support group is open to breast cancer patients and survivors as well as their caregivers.
When: First Tuesday of each month at 6:00 pm

Cancer Support Group
Open to any cancer patient or person providing care to a cancer patient.

Reflections Hospice Support Group
Designed to support those coping with end-of-life issues with a loved one.
When: Every first and third Monday of the month at 5:00 pm. Reflections for Kids meets the second Monday of each month at 5:00 pm.

Classes
FreshStart Smoking Cessation Class
TRMC and the American Cancer Society have teamed to provide free quit-smoking classes.
When: Sessions are held over the course of four evenings each month except for December.

Events
Girls Night Out
Held quarterly, Girls Night Out offers convenient evening appointment times for women who may not be able to receive annual mammograms during regular working hours. Medicare, Medicaid, cash and most forms of insurance are accepted for mammogram examinations. Girls Night Out participants are also treated to free massages, hand treatments, hors d’oeuvres and a little girl-time. Appointments with a physician referral are required.
When: 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on the following dates in 2012: April 12, June 12, Aug. 16, Oct. 9, Dec. 13.

Nanci Bowen Charity Golf Tournament
Hosted by retired LPGA pro and Tifton native Nanci Bowen, this golf tournament benefits the Tree of Life Fund, which provides for the special needs of patients of the TRMC Oncology Center and Hospice of Tift Area.

Tree of Life Lighting Ceremony
The Tree of Life is illuminated each holiday season during a special ceremony. Lights can be purchased in memory or honor of family member or friend. Proceeds benefit a special fund for the patients of the TRMC Oncology Center and Hospice of Tift Area with special needs. The tree lighting ceremony includes a candlelight service, live music, a complimentary meal and a visit from Santa.
