Look Good Feel Better Program for Cancer Patients
The Anita Stewart Oncology Center at Tift Regional Medical Center is hosting the Look Good Feel Better program for women undergoing cancer treatment. Taught by licensed beauty professionals (cosmetologists and estheticians), the program includes a 12-step skin care and makeup demonstration, fashionable head cover alternatives for disguising hair loss, and additional tips on enhancing appearance. The program is free and includes a make-up kit for participants. Look Good Feel Better is offered through a collaboration between the American Cancer Society; the Personal Care Products Council Foundation; and the Professional Beauty Association.
