Tift Regional Medical Center (TRMC) recently opened a new clinic, Ocilla Primary Care, located on Highway 129 near Irwin County Hospital. Internal medicine physician Kathrine Gibbons, M.D. is available for primary care for adults, including management of chronic diseases; injections for flu and pneumonia; routine gynecology; complete physical exams; and, health and wellness education.
After earning her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia, Dr. Gibbons completed an internal medicine residency at Memorial Health University Medical Center. She is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
“Dr. Gibbons is a skilled internal medicine physician who has practiced in South Georgia for many years,” said Andrea Heath, TRMC director of regional physician practice management. “She is looking forward to serving patients in the Ocilla and Fitzgerald area.”
