    • Heather Hall, Document Specialist in Case Management, passed the CCM exam in April and received her Commission for Case Manager Certification.

    • Amy Taylor, Clinical Educator, Learning & Development, graduated with a MSN from Columbus State University in December.

    • Jill Dowers, Director of Employee Wellness and Disease Management in Human Resources, graduated with a MSN from South University in October.

    • Keisha Stalnaker, Clinical Informatist, Systems Application Management, graduated with MSN from South University in February.

    • Sherry Ellis, Director of Clinical Informatics, Systems Application Management, graduated with MSN from Georgia Southwestern University in April.

    • Susie McKay, Director of the Emergency Department, received a Master of Business Administration from South University in May.

    • Chasley Green in Informatics received an MSN from Governor’s University in May.

    • Misty Brady, Hospice Billing Supervisor with Hospice of Tift Area, was promoted to Hospice Billing supervisor in April.

    • Crystal Howell, LMSW with Hospice of Tift Area, received certification as an Advanced Certified Hospice & Palliative Social Worker (ACHP-SW) in March.

    • Angela Searcy, CNA with Hospice of Tift Area, received Re-Certification as a Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse (CHPNA) in April.

    • Destiny Garmon, Medic in the ER, graduated from ABAC with her ADN and is currently orienting in the ER as an RN.

    • Candace Joy, RN, BSN in Pediatrics, received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western Governors University in February.

    • Nicole Durden, Clinical Educator in Learning and Development, received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from South University in May.

    • Rebekah Foster, Speech Pathologist in Outpatient Therapy, received a Master of Speech Pathology from Valdosta State University in May.

    • Jacquelyn Slade, LPN in the Sleep Center, received a Master of Public Health from Capella University in March.

    • Cissy Shaw, Process Improvement Leader with Lean Six Sigma, received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with Summa Cum Laude honors from South University in June.

    • Clare Wells, RN with Affinity Pulmonology, completed the Associate of Nursing RN bridge program at ABAC in May.
      Rita Taylor received a BSN from ABAC in May.

    • Kaitlyn Marshall, staff nurse in float pool, received a Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner from South University in April.

    • Brent Robison, RN recently received Critical Care Nurse certification.

    • Angel Valdes, RN, recently received Critical Care Nurse certification.

    • Stephanie Nugent, RN, received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from ABAC in May.

    • Adrianne Roberts, RN, received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing in February.

    • Misty McGough, RN, received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Albany State University in October.

    • Greg Wood, Property/Project Manager and Kyle Pane, Renovation Tech, both recently received certification as a Certified Healthcare Constructor.

    • Crystal Lindsey, RN, CCRN, Nuclear Stress Nurse in the Heart Vascular Center Stress Lab, received Critical Care nurse certification in March.

    • Jacquen Johnson, former office specialist for Affinity Pediatrics, was promoted to Office Coordinator in June.

    • Angie Parrish, Director of Inpatient Physical Therapy, received a Master of Business Administration from Colorado Christian University in May.

    • Brenda Boazman BSN, RNC Director of Systems Application Management, completed MSN/Informatics from South University in February.

    • Kim Johnson-Barnes BSN, MBA-HCA in Pre-Admission Testing, completed an MBA-HCA with honors from South University.

    • Kimberly Nixon Ward, RN in OB, received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing in February.

    • Ashley McDaniel, Infection Preventionist in Quality, received a Master of Science in Nursing: Infection Prevention and Control from American Sentinel University in April.

    • Ashley Ring received a Master of Science in Nursing from Georgia Southwestern State University in May.

    • Shanta Oliver, Denials Management Analyst in PFS, received a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Healthcare Management from Albany State University in May.

    • Tonia Garrett, RN, BSN, AVP Surgical Services, received a Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Administration South University in April.

    • Stacey Hall, RN, BSN, Nurse Manager for Day Surgery and PACU, received a Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Administration South University in April.

    • Anna Lavender, RN, PACU, received a Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University in October.

    • Mindy Stone, in PACU, received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlin University last June, and is currently completing the NP program at South University.

    • Irma Creel, RN, in OR, received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from South University in December.

    • Leigh McCabe RN, in OR, received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from South University in February.

    • Vicky Keen, RN and Nurse Manager with Urology and Orthopedic Surgery Centers, received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from South University in July.

    • Landra Denham, RN in OR, received a received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Walden University in May of 2017.

    • Lauren Saxena, Registered Dietician with Affinity Pediatrics, received a Master of Public Health from University of Massachusetts in May.

    • Antonio Howard was promoted to a HR Generalist role in May.

    • Dorothy Roberts recently received an MBA in Healthcare Administration.

    • Amyie Mathis recently received a Bachelor Degree in Human Capital Performance.

    • Elizabeth Bostic, RN, recently received her BSN degree.

    • Shonda Dennard, Unit Secretary/Nurse Extender in Day Surgery, received a distinguished award from ABAC for receiving a 3.5 GPA or higher for the spring semester.
