TRHS gives back this holiday season

Employees from TRHS have been giving back in a major way this season.

Over 35 children were “adopted” by TRHS for the Suitcases for Kids project. Suitcases for Kids is a community service project of Ruth's Cottage and The Patticake House. Donations are raised to support the provision of a large personalized duffel bag full of clothing, night wear, undergarments, and wish list items for foster youth in our Tifton Judicial Circuit Counties Tift, Irwin, Turner, Ben Hill and Worth Counties. At TRHS, Service Excellence Coach Gabe Reese coordinates the collections of the gifts. He is assisted by Lynn Moore, Diabetes Learning Center administrative assistant, with this large task. Both TRHS departments as well as individuals provided gifts for Suitcases for Kids.

Cook Medical Center sponsors a Christmas party for the member of the Adel-Cook County Boys and Girls Club each year. CMC employees chose one or several names from a list of the over 90 members of the club to purchase a gift for. The gifts were delivered to the club and given to each member individually.

See below for pictures of these events. Thanks go to everyone involved in these special community service projects!
