Pet Therapy Program
We’re excited to provide an Animal-Assisted Therapy (AAT) Program to patients and their families for therapeutic purposes. Our AAT Program brings joy to our patients, reducing anxiety and increasing effectiveness of treatments.
All of our canine volunteers and their handlers must be registered or certified by TRHS recognized organizations. To learn how you and your therapy registered dog can become part of our Pet Therapy Program, please contact Volunteer Services at 229.353.7590.
All volunteers are required to pass a criminal background check and drug test prior to service on our campuses. Please note that we do not accept applications for court-ordered community service hours.
