How can I volunteer at Southwell?

No matter a student’s career goals, they will have the opportunity to acquire skills that can be used in a variety of settings throughout their academic and professional career. Skills such as communication, customer service, organization, time management and more are learned through service to our community and staff.

We value the time and dedication of our Volunteens and are proud to offer an environment the promotes
networking with medical professionals, developing self-esteem, and creating meaningful memories.

Join our Southwell Patient and Family Advisory Council

Patients and their families are at the center of the healthcare delivery system at Tift Regional Health System. By involving patients and families as advisors our goal is to enhance communication, improve quality as well as the patient experience.

Advisors are patients and family members who have received care at our hospitals and who want to help improve experiences for others. They participate as our collaborative partners in developing and revising hospital policies, procedures and practices, helping our hospital improve quality and safety of care by giving input and feedback, identifying potential changes and feedback, and planning and implementing changes that matter to patients and families.

Our Patient and Family Advisory Council meets once a month during lunch at our Tift Regional Medical Center facility.
